I have always had the dream of writing a novel. Not sure where it came from, but it has always been there. The fact that a novel represents a creation of my mind, shaping a story to my vision and ideas has always been intriguing.
While that dream still seems very much out of reach (work, family, other priorities), I wanted to start writing something. Turns out, that something is going to be posts on Micro.Blog for now. I figured starting small, and trying to develop a routine of writing a few words on a regular basis would be the best approach for me. Over time it may (or may not) develop into an opportunity to write longer pieces. If it doesn’t work out or I can’t commit the time to write a long piece, I can take solace in the fact that I took some initial steps to improve my writing and expand my skill set.

002/365 - A new year, a new notebook. It’s going to be a challenging year at work, looking forward to it.
001/365 - Playing a little football under the full moon.
Being a fan of the picture-a-day posts by some of the people I follow on Twitter and Instagram, I am going to give it a shot in 2018. I hope to learn more about taking pictures with my iPhone 8+, and to slow down and enjoy what’s around me throughout the day. So tomorrow, picture 1.
Some fun with uncle Tom ice skating in DC. Cold, but we all had fun.
